TECHNICIAN LEVEL 2

Job description:

You will act as technician level 2 in a team of IT consultants. Responsible for several customers and facilities. You will be within the team of technicians which is mainly in charge of the onsite and remote technical support of our customers. You will also be required to perform implementations and migrations at the customers’ sites.   

Spécifications

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide an onsite and remote network support for customers.
  • Perform visits to the clients’ premises.
  • Provide the necessary maintenance and the administration of the clients’ IT infrastructures and applications, as well as ensure the stability and the regular monitoring of the environments.
  • Secure the networks and implement data backup solutions.
  • Perform implementation, installation and configuration of the customers Network and applications.
  • Write deployment procedures and various technical documents.
  • Develop business with the existing customers.
  • Promote the company’s products and services.
  • Analyze clients’ IT infrastructures, make recommendations and write the appropriate documents (Visio, Specifications, etc.) to build technical presentations and propose IT solutions.
  • Validate clients’ proposals with sales representatives.
  • Ready to participate in migrations at the customers premises outside working hours and share with the team the pager’s responsibilities to support the customers after working hours.

 

Knowledge and required qualifications:

  • Expert in network implementation.
  • Expert in server platform Windows 2003 / 2008 / 2008 R2 / 2012 R2 / 2016.
  • Expert in End Users/Servers connections.
  • Expert in desktop platforms: Windows XP / 7 / 8 / 10.
  • Good knowledge of the platforms Microsoft (AD, Office 365, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint).
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization platforms
  • Good knowledge of Firewall standards and products. 
  • Good knowledge of Network protocols and addressing.
  • Good knowledge of VPN protocols.
  • Good knowledge of anti-virus solutions.
  • Good knowledge of backup solutions.
  • Good knowledge of the remote connection solutions.
  • Good knowledge of the Hardware Server and users’ terminals.
  • Knowledge of storage infrastructures (NAS, SAN).
  • Knowledge of Mac platforms.
  • Must be ready to work on the road and directly with the customers.
  • Professional appearance and good presentation.
  • Excellent oral communication in French and English.
  • Good ability to write technical quotes.
  • Adapts easily.
  • Dynamic person, motivated and team player.
  • Ability to manage difficult situations on his own.

  • Years of experience: Minimum experience of 4 years as a IT Technician and System Administrator level 2
  • Microsoft certifications

TECHNICIAN LEVEL 3

Job description:

Reporting to the IT Director, the candidate must act as a specialist at the core of an IT Consultants Team. Responsible for multiple infrastructures, you will act as a Leader, Senior Consultant and Integrator on internal projects and clients.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Perform applications and network implementation and configuration at the customers’ sites, as well as securing the networks and implementing data backup solutions.
  • Provide an onsite and remote IT support to customers.
  • Provide the necessary maintenance and the administration of clients’ IT systems and applications. Ensure the stability and the regular monitoring of the environments.
  • Analyze and propose security measures adapted to customers’ needs.
  • Diagnose and handle incidents up to level 3 and follow up with the providers to ensure the incidents resolutions.
  • Write deployment procedures as well as various technical documents.
  • Perform visits to the customers.
  • Develop business with the existing customers.
  • Promote the company’s products and services.

  • Expert with the Microsoft platforms (AD, Office 365, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint)
  • Expert in virtualization solutions (Hyper-V, VMware)
  • Expert in End Users/Servers connections.
  • Expert in desktop platforms: Windows XP / 7 / 8 / 10.
  • Expert in Firewall platforms.
  • Expert in TCP/IP, Protocol, Ports, VLAN, Subnet.
  • Expert in configuring VPN connections.
  • Expert in Hardware Server and users’ terminals.
  • Expert in storage infrastructures (NAS, SAN).
  • Expert in remote connection solutions.
  • Very good knowledge of backup solutions (Altaro, Datto, Veeam, CA).
  • Very good knowledge in security best practices.
  • Very good knowledge of anti-virus solutions.
  • Good knowledge of Hardware.
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix.
  • Knowledge of Mac platforms.
  • Ability to write technical specifications.
  • Must be ready to work on the road and directly with the customers.

  • Skills level:  DEC or Bachelor degree in Information Technology or in another relevant field.
  • Years of experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience as Network Technician and System Administrator.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as Consultant in a computer Service Industry.
  • Certifications: Recognized certifications (ex: HPE, Network +, Security +, MCSE, MCITP, CCNA, or others)
  • Written Languages: French and English required
  • Spoken Languages: French and English required
  • Driving licence: Valid
